The IG-13 irradiator, fitted with appropriate radionuclide sources, can be used as a reference source of a homogeneous collimated gamma beam in the range of tenths of μGy/h up to 1 Gy/h. The IG-13 consists of a vertical rotary carousel for up to three sources, a beam collimator, lead shielding, and a control unit.
