The Auto Pipette Dispensing System dispenses small volume (micro to mini litter) of radioisotopes, typically from solid target isotopes, in a fully automatic procedure without any human intervention. The system includes a x-y-z axis motion robot, a capping and de-capping robot, a micro pipette robot, a 25 vials tray table, a three mother vial tray, a dose calibrator, a barcode scanner, a vial lifter, and a unique control software. A heater and shaker may also be added.
- The operations include liquid transfer, multiple dispensing steps and serial dilution
- The micro pipette capacity is from 1 to 200 micro liters.
- The disposable pipette tube can be replaced to avoid cross contamination when dispensing different liquid solutions.
- The average dispensing time is about 30 seconds per vial or approximately 12 minutes for 25 vials. The procedure includes de-capping, dispensing, capping, delivering to dose measurement, scanning, identifying, placing product into a shielded container and moving to the port for removal from the Hot Cell.
- The unique software is easily programmable and prevents a standard procedure to the operator. It can be also separated manually in a step-by-step mode.
- Three mother vials are available for various isotopes or chemical solvents for the probes.
