The NI-03 and NI-07 irradiators, fitted with appropriate radionuclide sources, serve primarily as reference sources of neutron flux. Optionally, gamma sources can also be inserted. The irradiator consists of a rotary carousel for up to three (NI-03) or seven (NI-07) sources, vertical source-lifting mechanism which enables to eject the source to the requited height, and neutron and gamma shielding.
